Thunder shook my house last night. The sound reminiscent of a freight train headed straight for me at high speed. More rain, high winds and hail assaulted the house. This morning fresh, cold, clean air filled our lungs and slapped our faces awake as we walked along the road that parallels Sporthaven Beach. High surf mixed with big wind gusts splashed the sea onto the road leaving sand, logs and other debris in our path. More storms headed our way. 15 to 20 foot swells and winds from the South are predicted. Many people combed the sand in search of whatever might have been left by last nights squall. Emma danced along nose in the air and light on her feet. A good day to be out.
