I went to the Port this evening. A minus tide showed much of the rock outcroppings at the mouth of the river. More than I have ever seen exposed. Hundreds of Brown Pelicans covered the rocks. Such a large population can only mean that anchovies and herring are in the Harbor. The Chetco River is open for Chinook Salmon fishing. Many large fish are caught this time of year. There was a 50 pounder on the cover of our Pilot Newspaper this week.
So I am working on this great MAC computer. Making the switch or at least a valiant attempt. I have much to learn. It is like driving a new Jag when you are used to an old VW Van. Learning new tricks not so easy anymore. Wish me luck.
