Where the Antelope Play

Prong Horned Antelope. Insights thoughts of an African Savanna for me. Herds bounding through a dry landscape running helplessly from a marauding lioness. Never thought I would be eating one but yes that is just what I had for dinner the other night. A new culinary adventure for me. But actually they are native to our Western North America and can run up to 53 miles an hour, leaving pursuing coyotes and bobcats in the dust - shows you what I know. It was delicious. Dark rich flavorful meat much like a beef roast . . . only better. I am liking this wild stuff .

Busy week. John and I drove to Portland to pick up my new ride. I am in Coos Bay now for a few days. Gratitude to my brother for his patience, generosity and love and for the business center in the hotel lobby for keeping me connected. Peace.
