Strange day today. The universe is trying to communicate something to me and I need to open up and find out what it is. Going to the car, I found I had an unusual hitchhiker waiting for me at the door of the car - right there on the roof close to my nose. He did not freak out when I walked up. He sat there looking at me with his beady little black insect eyes. I stood for a moment and waited for him to fly (or hop) off but he didn't. So I carefully opened the door and got in thinking he would blow off when I took to the street. Not thinking anymore about it I drove over to my mother's house to join her and my daughter, Erin, for dinner. When I got out of the car . . . yup you guess it, he was still there. Crazy how he hung on for the ride across town. Well at this point I knew he was there sacrificing himself to give me a message. I asked him (quietly so Mom's neighbor's don't think I have come unhinged) what it was he was trying to tell me. He stared intently at me and did not say anything. Sigh . . . so I went inside and had Erin Google Crickets. It turns out they are good luck! Wow lets hope so. I will let you know if my lottery ticket wins . . . or not. If you don't hear from me for awhile you will know good things are happening and I have relocated to Africa.
