The Crazy Dog Lady

There is a woman in town who walks 10 or 12 dogs at one time. They are all the same small breed. When I see her she seems to be yelling and punishing them. People around here refer to her as the crazy dog lady. That is how I felt today as I tried to walk three dogs at once. Although not punishing but trying to stay safe and organized, I felt her pain. My big puppy heals well but wants to play. The two older dogs tend to pull on you and want to mark everything even if there is nothing left to use for marking. Needless to say it was an adventure and we only made it maybe 1/2 mile. Between the thick fog, high traffic (due to construction) getting tangled up, neighbors offering to get their dog and add one more to the mix, and the latest flare of MS, enough was enough, Later today if I am still able to walk we will try again only separately. I can do this . . . really. So after a long night with many reminders that it was not time to get up yet, and trying to fit everyone on a queen size bed, we survived our first night together. Queen Diva P. A. L. is outside with a bone the other two resting at my feet. So far so good.
