Avoidance. As with everything there is an art to doing it well. Everyone avoids something or someone at sometime and some of us most of the time. Something as simple as a chore or a phone call. A negative visitor that thinks its OK to drop by unannounced and purge all their unpleasant troubles regularly. Shades drawn, answering machines on with messages unanswered, all signs of unwanted conversations and visits.

Family members ignored for what ever reasons. Some people are just too busy. Priorities of great importance take precedence over small things that will wait or will they? Mundane reasons mount keeping us from maintaining important relationships. Life happens, excuses stack up and time passes to an uncomfortable silence. Opportunities pass us by due to evasions and non participation. Regrets surface. Choices made. Damage done.
