As I soak in the warm scented waters of my luxuriously large tub, I ruminate on all the wonderful booty I acquired from my loving family and friends. My daughter especially spoiled me with lavishly scented gifts. Did you know that carrot cake is not only a tasty desert it is also an award winning ultra rich shampoo, shower gel & bubble bath? There is the Salt Buttah, smelling of peppermint, spearmint and orange. It is most enjoyable. You rub it in, all over (the texture is just like butter) and then sink into warm bath water and it melts into your skin. My cinnamon chai scented candle adds to the ambiance emitting its own wonderful scent and adding a lovely crackling sound like a warm fire burning nearby. My favorite Thymes products are the Fir soap (smells like a Christmas tree) and Olive Leaf bubble bath smelling of laurel, balsamic lavender and patchouli with wood notes. I also have Red Cherie bath salts smelling of cherry and passion flowers to try. Shea laVie is a whole box of different soaps and lotions I have yet to experience. Beeswax moisturizers and ginger body creams and perfumes await my enjoyment.
My concern, as I try out these fabulous scents, is what will I end up smelling like? When you paint with all the colors in your paint box what do you end up with . . . gray. It will be interesting to see what scent lingers over the others. I can't only use one at a time. It would be like eating just one potato chip. It can't be done.
