Another gorgeous day in Oregon. Today I was invited to fish and shoot and investigate a whole new area. My friend is very knowledgeable about so much and has a plethora of pretty places he knows to visit. Rivers, lakes and streams, mountainsides and meadows. Liard Lake is a long way off. A journey of long mountain roads filled with greenery and pine trees, rivers promising some great fishing . . . some day. A destination of serenity and beauty. I am not at liberty to divulge the directions to this beautiful spot but believe me I feel blessed to have had someone special share it with me. No fish today we think the eagle (see photo) must have eaten them all. No grouse - he ate them too. But I had a tasty breakfast of deer sausage and blueberry pancakes and eggs then spent some time killing apples and evil tin cans. Such fun.
Tomorrow I am off to Medford to offer moral support to my good friends who are facing some tough medical procedures. Keep us in your prayers. Hope your holiday is not overwhelming you. Peace.
